Description
One of the Roman baths in the ancient religous complex at Bath, in Somerset, England. This is the King's Bath, the site of the holy spring which gushes 240,000 gallons of hot water every day. It's said it was found by an ancient British king, who was cured of leprosy by the healing waters. People continued bathing here for more than 2,000 years, until the mid-20th Century, when health and hygiene concerns let to it being closed to bathers.
