Description
Swiftly moving hands pluck the choicest leaves before transferring them to the sack on the back of this Sri Lankan tea picker. The women are Tamils descended from those the British brought over from southern India to work on the plantations. They live in settlements on the plantations, with primitive housing and few facilities.
