Wide angle lens and stand in the right place. It helps to have had one of the world's greatest architects design the subject for maximum visual impact.

Thanks, Rich. It's just a jpg from the 5D (I was running out of card space at the time). Bath is a fabulous city. This was my first visit and I was only there overnight, before rushing off to Heathrow the next morning. So we spent the afternoon rushing trying to "do" the place in four or five hours.
